This idea links notes written during invoicing to the Patients medical records.
1. The user would add an "Invoice Note" the same way they currently add an Product as an Invoice Item.
2. The item would appear on the invoice and also in the clinical record.
3. The invoice report needs to be updated to include invoice notes
Is a new 'Invoice Note' archetype required, or can the existing act.patientClinicalNote be used?
From an implementation perspective, the notes would be added via a new Notes tab, next to Items.
I reckon that would work fine. I suppose there would be an act_relationship between the invoice act and the act.patientClinicalNote.
How would the template show these notes I wonder?
The templates could have a subreport to handle notes. If templates need to be updated as well, maybe should be handled as a separate JIRA as there may need to be new templates with/without invoice notes.
I reckon we will need these notes to appear on invoices for sure according to forum discussion.
The suggested options were;
"In a longer text field either
a)In line with the other items or
b) in header/footer of Patient group or invoice as a whole?"
If better to split into Jira and sub Jira happy to post what ever is decided.
